COACH RANDY MCLEMORE joined CCW in 2000 and became head coach in 2002. He established the 501
c 3 status and incorporation to help build the youth club and help those under-privileged youth who wanted to learn the sport
of wrestling. His wrestlers come as far as Marble Falls, Lago Vista, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Georgetown.
He stresses the importance of learning the fundamentals of wrestling at his club. Once the wrestler has some experience
and expresses an interest in advancing their technical skills he enjoys showing them a variety of pinning combinations.
He started coaching with Scott Norton, founder of CCWC, in downtown Austin at the School for the Deaf and later Crockett High
School. Many of those youth wrestlers are now in high school or college. His favorite saying during wrestling
season; "there isn't a horse that can't be rode or a man that can't be thrown." Translation: Always believe
in yourself and your ability but not so much that you overlook your opponent.

COACH
JASON JEWETT joined CCW in 2003. He wrestled at Anderson High School in Austin. His son, Joshua and daughter Jordynn
are both CCW Alumni and younger son Devin is in the record books as being the youngest bulldog wrestler in CCW history, beginning
when he was just 3 years old! His dedicationto this team and this sport has been amazing! he generally works with
the younger wrestlers getting them started on the fundamentals of wrestling. He devises games to keep it fun.
"I cannot express how much I feel wrestilng impacts the character of the young people that participate. They stand
alone on the mat, no one there to help, no one to blame for their failure. Likewise, the success is all their own.
They know it was their hard work that earned the victory. The coaches can only point in the direction of victory."
