HEAD COACH RANDY McLEMORE
Coach Randy is going on eight years now with CCWC. He had held the practices the Rec Center in Lago Vista for the past five years. His wrestlers come as far as Marble Falls, Lago Vista, Leander, Cedar Park, and Round Rock. He stresses the importance of learning the fundamentals of wrestling at his club. Once the wrestler has some experience and expresses an interest in advancing their technical skills he enjoys showing them a variety of pinning combinations. He started coaching with Scott Norton, founder of CCWC in downtown Austin at the School for the Deaf and Crockett High School. Many of those youth wrestlers are now in high school or college. His favorite saying during wrestling season..."There isn't a horse that can't be rode or a man that can't be thrown." Translation: Always believe in yourself and your ability but not so much that you overlook your opponent. If you have questions - email the coach! coach@capcitywrestling.com

COACH JASON JEWETT
This is Jason's 4th year with CCWC as a coach. He wrestled at Anderson High School in Austin and is passing the tradition to his two boys, Joshua and Devin and his daughter, Jordynn. His dedication to this team and this sport has been amazing! He generally works with the younger wrestlers getting them started on the fundamentals of wrestling. He devises games to keep it fun. "I cannot express how much I feel wrestling impacts the character of the young people that participate. They stand alone on the mat. No one there to help, no one to blame for their failure. Likewise, the success is all theirs. They know it was their hard work that earned the victory. The coaches can only point in the direction of victory."

Coach John Hagel who was instrumental in introducing wrestling to the Austin Independent school district has continued to work with Capital City Wrestling and other area clubs to help keep the sport growing in this area. His direct approach to coaching and his wealth of knowledge of this sport is respected by many youth wrestlers. He has helped take many "to the next level" of wrestling. We are honored to induct Coach Hagel into the Bulldog Hall of Fame - 2008!

Levi McLemore was introduced to Capital City Wrestling Club in 2001 by his father and now head coach, Randy McLemore. His tenacity for the sport and competitive spirit throughout the past 7 years has provided him with the opportunity to fill his room with a lot of hardware! But, as he has matured in the sport, he is more satisfied with feeling of having his hand raised at the end of the match. He will move forward competing in High School next year as a freshman and looks forward to taking all the support and knowledge his coaches have given him. We are proud to induct Levi McLemore into the Bulldog Hall of Fame - 2008!

Lucky Torres was one of our original seven when Capital City began practicing in Lago Vista five years ago. He has become one of the family and looked up to by many of the younger wrestlers. Coach Randy has enjoyed watching him mature as a young man and as a wrestler. This past season he showed a passion for wrestling and has decided to make a commitment to continue with this sport into High School. We look forward to watching him continue to be a wrestler to look out for on the mat. We are proud to induct Lucky Torres into the Bulldog Hall of Fame - 2008!
